How can we program, imagine, and co-create with artificial intelligence without losing our connection to the earth we inhabit?
HORIZONS invites creators, artivists, technologists, and researchers to explore AI as an ecomedia practice: a way to listen to the planet, expose the climate crisis, and imagine relationships between code, ecology, and human creativity.
Through intergenerational co-creation, the incubator questions the material, energy, and social footprint of generative models. How and why you use AI are part of the work.
Experienced creators and students making their first AI video are welcome.

Project information & screening notes
Prepare a 1–2-page PDF using the template. Complete every field marked Required, including your AI process, sources, eco-reflection and screening notes.
Templates are in English. Submit your completed document as a PDF.
Filling in the template
Include your creative contribution, collaborators, copyright confirmation, and whether sound is essential. Playback arrangements will be confirmed with the exhibition team.
PDF: download it and open it in a PDF editor that supports form fields. Fill the fields, save a copy, then reopen it to check that your answers are visible.
On your phone: the Word version is an alternative. Open it in Word, Pages or a compatible document app, replace the answer prompts, then use the app’s Export or Share menu to save a PDF. Send the completed PDF, not the Word file.
Signed exhibition consent form
Download the English form, complete your details and permission choices, then return a signed PDF.
Sign and date the artist section only. Leave the organiser and curator signature fields blank.
Filling and signing on your phone
- Save the Word file to your phone and open it in Word, Pages or a compatible document app.
- Complete the artist and artwork details, an English biography (maximum 150 words), and an English artwork introduction / artist statement. Choose your permissions and licence period. Add your signature and date in the artist section. If your document app cannot add a signature, export to PDF first and use a PDF annotation app.
- Export or save the signed form as a PDF. Reopen it to check your details and signature, then attach it to your submission email together with your Project Information PDF. Put the video download link in the email.

Shared questions.
Who can take part?
The call welcomes audiovisual creators, artivists, students, produsers, ecomedia and visual artists, AI developers, creative coders, ecologists, environmental humanists, scientists, interaction designers, sound artists, and digital storytellers. Hybrid, interdisciplinary, and intergenerational profiles are welcome.
Is there a fee? Will artists be paid?
Participation is free. No fees will be paid to artists for participation or screening. Any other cost arrangements must be agreed separately.
Do I keep the rights to my work?
Yes. You retain all rights you hold in your contribution. The signed consent form grants Future Pass Creative Co., Ltd. a non-exclusive licence to screen the identified work at Ca’ Foscari Esposizioni from 18–22 November 2026. Additional uses are separate choices in the form. Submission does not transfer ownership, automatically apply an open licence, or authorize AI training. Review the full consent form for its terms.
What should I know about AI and source materials?
Disclose which AI tools you used, what they generated or changed, and your own creative contribution. Identify collaborators and sources, and explain permissions or licences. The guidelines prohibit prompts imitating named living artists, trademarked characters, and voice or face replicas of real people without written permission. Read the full guidelines for music, archival materials, and disclosure requirements.
Does applying guarantee exhibition?
No. Selection depends on artistic quality, relevance, technical suitability, and rights clearance, and is subject to curatorial review.
